March Noggin

Thanks to Helen and Charlotte of Richard Thorne Classic Cars (our new website sponsors) for attending and sharing some interesting facts regarding the making of the Wheeler Dealer programme. The show filmed the rebuilding of a +4 Morgan on to a new chassis. Ii was good to see such a large gathering for the presentation, maybe we have to find a larger venue already!!

Annual Dinner

On the 26th January we held our Annual Dinner at the Sudbury Hall Hotel in Faringdon.

Many of the Centre joined us for an excellent meal in excellent company with a taxing quiz to close off the evening.

For those that stayed over (and some locals who returned!) we were treated to a tour of the Faringdon Folly Tower thanks to Stu Priest. The day was glorious and the views wonderful from the top. A good way to clear the head!

Let battle commence..

Your mission if you wish to accept it..

"Which side should I stand?"

Only another 100 steps to go ...

But worth the view..

"..and through the arched window"

Autumn Run, Batsford Arboretum

The days are getting shorter but the weather seems to be getting better!

Great to see so many OxMoggers turn out on a beautiful Autumn day to see nature at her best.

Is this the formation of 'LogMog'?

Trixie seems to think that Simmonds have done a good job on her new hood!

Our runs do not always involve eating (well, OK they do!)

Wheels in Winslow

A favourite of several OxMoggers (probably due to the fact that two of the members help organise it!)

Jon Savage with his new addition..

Arthur Mason firmly on the ground for a change

Some how an MG managed to break the ranks!

Nice +4 Supersport alongside a very well prepared Triumph

Ready for a drive into the country lanes....

but hope you don't have to follow these!

Fuel at 1950 prices??

Silverstone Classic

After a very wet month it was nice to have a break in the weather to enjoy the Silverstone Classic Weekend.

It was good to join fellow Centres and Morganeers at the Morgan display.

Once you crossed the mud it was good to go to the Morgan stand

Proudly flying our new banner

It doesn't look so wet here..

MSCCH 40th Celebrations, Assen

Several OxMoggers made the journey across the North Sea to drive to Northern Holland to the town of Assen to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of forming the Dutch Club together with the 50th Anniversary of Morgan winning their class at Le Mans 24hr in 1962.

Ready for the ferry at Harwich

Maybe we should have packed a truck instead!

A welcome break from the rain

Hoorn, a welcome spot of sunshine

Back on the road again....

Sea to the left, sea to the right!

Why carry a spare wheel when you can carry a spare car

The sun shone to prove that it can in Holland as well as rain.

Back for the return trip

Are we there yet!
